No. Pride and Prejudice Chat is an independent Quest Portal Inc product inspired by Jane Austen's public-domain novel. It is not affiliated with BBC, BritBox, Bad Wolf, Janice Hadlow, or The Other Bennet Sister.
Does Pride and Prejudice Chat use AI?
Yes. The app uses an on-device AI model so each character can answer in voice. The experience is designed around Austen characters and conversation quality, not generic chatbot behavior.
Are chats private?
Yes. The app is designed so conversations stay on your phone. There is no account and conversation text is not sent to a server.
Does it work offline?
Yes. Because the character model runs locally on the device, conversations can work offline.
Is there a subscription?
No. The launch characters are planned to be free, with no subscription.
Are there ads in the app?
No. The app is ad free. However, we might on occasion show banners for other products we are developing.
